How to Switch to The Columbia Bank

Welcome to the Fulton Financial family! Making the switch to The Columbia Bank is easy, especially with our Switch Kit Checklist. Follow these three simple steps and in no time, you will be part of our family!

STEP 1 - Open a Checking Account at The Columbia Bank.

Apply for an account online using the link to the left or by visiting a local branch. Then, stop using your current bank's deposit account. Be sure to leave sufficient funds in the account until all outstanding checks and automatic payments have cleared.

STEP 2 - Change your Direct Deposits and Automatic Payments.

Print and complete the forms below and bring them to a The Columbia Bank branch. We'll handle everything from there!

Need assistance with these forms? Our friendly The Columbia Bank staff is ready to help! Please bring a recent bill or statement, which includes an account number, for all deposits and payments to the branch.

STEP 3 - Close Your Former Bank Account.

Print and complete the Authorization to Close Account Form and bring it to your new branch to be mailed. We'd be happy to shred your former checks and debit card too!
